Complexity and Excellence in Aligner Treatment: How High Have We Set the Bar?

Since the advent of aligner orthodontics, there has been tremendous advancement of the technique in terms of the types of cases that can be treated with this method. However, for many years there has been substantial debate as to whether aligners can treat complex malocclusion with the same degree of accuracy that fixed orthodontic appliances can achieve. There were debates about  the presumed longer duration of aligner treatment. Is this the reality after 25 years? In her presentation the author will highlight the technical advantages of clear aligners in the treatment of complex orthodontic dysharmonies and will demonstrate the superiority of the orthodontic result that can be achieved as a result of efficient treatment planning.
