WHAT DOES THE HYGIENE CONCEPT LOOK LIKE?

To ensure that the event leaves a positive lasting impression for everyone involved, we as a congress agency are in close contact with the authorities and those responsible at the Cologne Gürzenich.  It remains our concern that you feel as comfortable and safe as possible during your stay in Cologne. Of course, there is a hygiene concept in place at the Gürzenich, which we take into account together with the DGAO. Currently, there is no obligation to wear a medical mask - but it is of course up to you to protect yourself by covering your mouth and nose.

ARE THE PRESENTATIONS IN GERMAN OR ENGLISH?

The presentations will be partly in German and partly in English. The entire event will be simultaneously translated into German and English by two interpreters. This applies to the live event as well as to the stream of the congress online.

 

CAN I CHANGE MY BOOKING AT SHORT NOTICE IN CASE OF ILLNESS?

If you are unable to attend the event at short notice, we will send you the link for the online stream of the congress by e-mail. You will then have the opportunity to access the videos and material for another two weeks. You will receive the corresponding link together with your certificate by email after the congress. You will also continue to benefit from the advantages of attending in person, such as access to the digital pre-congress. For the congress, only both days can be booked in parallel; booking individual days is not possible.

WHEN WILL I RECEIVE THE LINK FOR MY ONLINE PARTICIPATION?

You will receive the link at least 48 hours before the start of the event. We open the virtual room 10 minutes before the start of the congress, so you can dial in a little earlier. Please keep in mind that we send the link to the e-mail adress you used for the registration, so make sure you can access this mail from a device within your reach.

HOW CAN I ACCESS THE DIGITAL PRE-CONGRESS?

The digital pre-congress is exclusive to presence attendees and can be accessed on the homepage starting November 17th, 9am. This section of the homepage is password protected. You will receive the password in advance by email. The videos will be available there until December 4th. All guests who attend the congress in person and arrive the day before and/or attend the pre-congress are cordially invited to the Get Together at Harry's New York Bar on November, 21st at 6:00 p.m.

 

CAN I CANCEL MY TICKET?

Cancellation is not possible after receipt of the registration confirmation. The registration of a substitute participant is possible against payment of a handling fee of 50 euro until before the beginning of the event. A separate registration of the substitute participant is required. If you have a ticket for the DGAO Night, it will be returned to sale and refunded if we can sell your ticket elsewhere.

 

WHEN DOES THE CHECK-IN START?

The Check-In takes place between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. on all three days. It is possible to check in a day in advance for the following day.

WHAT ABOUT THE EVENING ENTERTAINMENT?

Get Together on November, 21st after the pre-congress (starting from 6:00 p.m.): Harry's New York Bar at the Dorint Hotel am Heumarkt Köln, Pipinstraße 1· 50667 Köln

DGAO-Night on November, 22nd takes place at Wartesaal Cologne, Johannisstr. 11 · 50668 Köln (7:30 p.m.). The DGAO Night 2024 will once again be a highlight that you should not miss!

 

CAN I STILL REGISTER FOR DGAO-NIGHT AT SHORT NOTICE?

The number of participants for the DGAO Night is limited. We cannot guarantee that we will still have places available at short notice.
