Dear colleagues,

it is my pleasure to invite you to the 8th Scientific Congress for Aligner Orthodontics, which is being held under the motto “25 years of aligner treatment – what’s new?”. The congress will take place on 22 and 23 November 2024 at the Gürzenich Congress Centre in Cologne and will give us the opportunity to explore the latest developments and innovations in aligner orthodontics. Together with the entire DGAO board, our conference president Dr Julia Haubrich has put together a stimulating programme and invited highly renowned speakers from all over the world to Cologne.

This will be a hybrid event. Depending on your individual preferences, you can either attend in person in Cologne and enjoy the entire congress experience first hand or take part on line from your home or practice.

The congress will be framed by two special events. On 21 November, we will start with an in-person pre-congress focusing on the importance of function in aligner treatment. This will also be held in the Gürzenich Congress Centre and will be followed by a relaxed get-together in order to promote professional exchange. On 22 November, the legendary DGAO Night awaits you. It will once again take place in the “Wartesaal” in Cologne.

The high-calibre presentations and discussions will once again be accompanied by a wide-ranging industry exhibition. Take the opportunity to gain an insight into innovative technologies, materials, and products in the field of aligner orthodontics. You can already get an idea of which companies await you at the stands. The detailed programme of both the pre-congress and the main congress can be found here, and you can register here.

We are certain that this congress will provide you with the unique opportunity to reflect on the developments of the past 25 years in aligner treatment and discover the latest achievements together with colleagues from around the world.

We, the entire DGAO Board, are looking forward to meeting you in Cologne – or on line – and shaping the future of aligner orthodontics together with you.

With kind regards,
Prof Dr. Dr. Dr. Ralf J. Radlanski
DGAO President
